Monty Medanich
Monty has worked in the healthcare industry in Lubbock, Texas since 1992. He started his healthcare career at St. Mary of the Plains Hospital in Lubbock, TX in the admitting department before taking on a role in the business office which led to a leadership position to assist in the merger of St. Mary of the Plains Hospital and Lubbock Methodist Hospital. Post-merger, Monty served as the Director of Business Operations for Covenant Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Joe Arrington Comprehensive Cancer Center for the remaining 5 years of his tenure at Covenant Health System. In 2011, Monty joined Lubbock Diagnostic Radiology and still serves as the Chief Operating Officer/Practice Manager for Lubbock Diagnostic Radiology.
With leadership experience in both hospital and physician operations over a 29-yr span, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the healthcare industry. Monty graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 and Wayland Baptist in 1999 and has made Lubbock home with his wife Cinnamon and their two daughters. Monty’s hobbies at one point included golf, hunting, and fishing. His hobbies now include “taxiing” his daughters to and from their sporting and dance activities. In addition, Monty and his family are die-hard Texas Tech Red Raider sports fans. Guns Up!
