Matt Tinsley
Matt has worked in the Lubbock healthcare market for over 20 years in various roles. He started his career at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock in the business office and then worked in Public Relations. Matt left Methodist Hospital and went to work for FirstCare Health Plans in 2000 as a Provider Relations/Contracting Representative and eventually Director of Field Operations. In 2006, he left FirstCare to help start Grace Clinic of Lubbock as Director of Business Operations and worked at Grace until 2012. For the past 8 years, Matt has been the Practice Administrator for Lubbock Surgical Associates, LLP which merged with SWAT Surgical Associates, LLP in 2018 and is also a healthcare consultant for Southwest Medical IPA. Matt has helped multiple medical practices currently and in the past with Medical Business Operations and Revenue Cycle.
With experience on both the insurance company and provider side of Healthcare Business, he brings unique experience in the Healthcare industry. Matt graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 1994 and has made his home in Lubbock with his wife Carla and their two children. Matt has served on several local committees over the years and enjoys being involved in the community.
